Care

Care and support

A care team is available day and night to provide high-quality care tailored to each individual situation. A care and support plan is developed in an interdisciplinary team with the resident and their relatives to best meet their expectations and needs.

The EMS's attending physician oversees the facility's care policy, but each individual retains the freedom to choose their own primary care physician. A psychiatrist, a dentist, and paramedical professionals such as psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and podiatrists can be involved in the care if necessary.

We pay particular attention to ensuring that each resident maintains their freedom of choice and autonomy for as long as possible, with respect and compassion.

Support for daily living

When a certain age arrives, human beings are no longer able to be 100% independent. The employees of Nouveau Kermont are there to help people who need it.

The objective of this support for daily life is to allow residents to live properly while benefiting from assistance without this affecting their dignity.

OUR ACTIVITIES

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists work within the EMS on medical prescription. Their specific support allows residents to maintain or even improve their mobility while relieving possible muscle pain. Specific sessions can help strengthen muscles and thus reduce the risk of falls. Sessions are tailored to the needs and abilities of residents, including those with cognitive impairments.

LIVING ENVIRONMENT

Occupational therapy

After having established an assessment of the resident's functional abilities, the occupational therapist offers adapted sessions to help maintain autonomy in the activities of daily life. The occupational therapist can create or adapt different care equipment: prostheses, splints, technical aids; and help the resident use these auxiliary means.

Dietetics

It is important to ensure a balanced diet for everyone according to their tastes or restrictions in order to guarantee the well-being of all residents. To do this, the team of cooks and the support team ensure that the meals match the person's tastes and the recommendations of doctors or dietitians.
